THE STORY
The Prestige Rouge has a strong personality and captures both Minuty’s style and classic Provence red wine.
Jean-Etienne and François Matton started out with the idea of making a vintage that bursts with aroma but has a light flavour. This is a wine for 100% pleasure.
THE METHOD
This vintage is a careful blend of mainly Syrah with Mour- vèdre and a little Grenache. The winemaking process all happens with perfect understanding of winemaking temperatures and gentle extraction to bring out its fresh fruity aromas and finer tannins. All red wine undergoes malolactic fermentation to give the aftertaste body and it is partly aged in French oak barrels.
THE FLAVOUR
Ruby red with tempting berry and mild spice notes. Fresh on the palate with lingering aromas of fruit and spices. A consistent, balanced and intense wine.
THE EXPERIENCE
The wine’s delicious full body goes with all kinds of dishes from poultry (Sunday roast) to grilled fish. Herbes de Provence (herby rack of lamb) are always welcome to the party, as are all kinds of spices including exotic dishes such as tagine and curry. Prestige Rouge’s fruity flavour lightens up hearty salads and its light yet intense personality tempers the spiciest sauces. A go-to red wine for meal times!
